Land Rover will be commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Continental Divide expedition by taking several 2014 Range Rovers on a 1,000 mile journey across the country, replicating the epic journey. As an added bonus for enthusiast, Land Rover will also be auctioning a fully restored 1990 Range Rover Great Divide replica on eBay.
The Great Divide Expedition will be putting each Range Rover to the test, as each vehicle will be tackling the trip as a completely bone stock vehicle - we don’t imagine this will be much of a problem, though. Encountering rocky paths, steep ascents and harrowing mountain descents are second nature for the Land Rover family, but it should provide a great opportunity for Land Rover to flex their off-roading chops once again.
Those interested in making a run at the Range Rover Great Divide replica can turn to eBay on August 4th when bidding opens up.
