The drool-worthy LRX is ready to roll and will debut at the Paris Motor Show.

Much hasn’t changed since the LRX concept debuted in Detroit in 2008… and that’s a good thing. Why mess with perfection? The uber-sleek LRX is a radical departure for Land Rover, which is rolling the dice on a Sport Utility Vehicle that’s high on style and somewhat less capable off-road than its famous cousins. It will even sport Land Rover’s first hybrid drivetrain, with a 3.0 liter diesel V6 mated to a 25kW electric motor that will operate on fuel or its lithium ion battery in any combination. Look for it at the show in L.A. later this year.

Are you ready?
