Last month we wrote about the new for 2015 Range Rover Autobiography model and and the history of the Autobiography editions from their inception 1993. Well just now Land Rover has revealed the latest update to its most exclusive (and expensive) line. Ladies and gentlemen, the 2016 Range Rover SVAutobiography.
The new model, to be revealed at the 2015 New York Auto Show this week, also gains the distinction of being the world's most expensive SUV, with a base price tag of $199,495, a $12k increase over the 2015 version.
As expected, this $200k machine comes with a litany of innovative comfort, convenience, performance, and safety features; there are just too many to list here. Of particular note is the 550-horsepower supercharged V8 as used in the Range Rover Sport SVR. Though at this price level, you ought to be able to pick and choose how your vehicle is built. So Land Rover is offering all of the engines from its current stable, including the diesel and hybrid options.
Also worth mentioning are the two-tone color scheme, 22" alloy rims, billet-machined aluminum interior accents, sliding load bay floor, and the "event seating" stowed in the rear drop gate.
