The Sterling was, at its inception, a remarkably cutting-edge automobile, with one of the first on-board computerized driver information centers ever. Its ride, handling, speed and luxury were state-of-the-art... but its lack of widespread distribution caused Rover to pull the plug and bring it back to the U.K.
