JackRack has been designed to mount both Hi-lift and Jackall jacks to the rear wheel carrier on most 4 X 4 vehicles and provide a jacking base for soft terrain. These instructions apply to Land Rover Models including Series, Defender and Discovery. A padlock – not supplied – will be required to ensure security and safety. The wing nuts provided are for short duration only and not for situations where loss of the jack could cause injury or an accident. Extra pair of Nyloc nuts are provided to help with this by replacing the wing nuts, but the Padlock is essential to avoid potential hazards.

It should also be pointed out the UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATEVER SHOULD THE HEXAGON SPACERS BE USED ON THE ROAD WHEELS.

JackRack uses spacers to bring the fitted jack clear of the tire. It is important therefore to use spacers that are long enough to do this and cater for wheel offset ant tire size. The following list describes the types for Land Rover models and tire sizes.
Mounting spacer application:

Spacer length - Application

65mm - Discovery steel wheels and Rostyle wheels up to 205tires

105mm - White and silver 8 spoke, modular steel wheels up to 225 and 31” tires.

130mm - Land Rover “Series” vehicles with spare mounted “front to door”.

Alloy 65mm - Special fixings for Range Rover/Discovery Aluminum wheels. Note: 3 standard steel wheel nuts are required for Alloy wheels (not included).

On some Series Land Rovers the wheel is mounted "outside to the door" and these require special long studs. Aluminum wheels require a substitute spacer which is available an extra cost.
