The Terrain Master, Patented, ChockTrak is a unique device, developed to help in a variety of off-road situations. It has been designed and manufactured by a Company with a track record for quality volume manufacture and extensively tested.

ChockTraks are designed in such a way to be compact in storage and transportation, yet open out in three different ways to make them multi-purpose. They are built from high quality aluminum extrusions with stainless steel hardware, zinc plated ground blades and self-lubrication bushes. The diagram illustrates how the wheel and winching forces are contained within the structure

ChockTraks have three main functions:

1) As a wheel chock for winching and general recover.

The adjustable ground blade may be set to suit the particular ground conditions. They have been winch tested up to 11,000 lbs. of winch load. 

ChockTraks are also used as a general chock for trailers, caravans and boats and for jacking almost any vehicle. An assessment of the hardness of the terrain will determine the amount of ground blade to project. Maximum for sand and mud, and minimum for hard surfaces. The blade is adjusted by removing the two Allen bolts on each one and repositioning the blade to suit. A suitable key is provided for this purpose. 

A ChockTrak is placed in front of the leading wheels when winching and against the wheels most likely to move when jacking, this is usually inside the pair of wheels that are not to be raised. They operate with the blade facing away form the wheel in the direction of the load with the wheel sitting on the extended base section. 

As the forces increase the blades will engage with the ground and anchor the vehicle.
