Headbolt Torque for Range Rover Classic

Fits: Range Rover Classic | '87 - '94
- These instructions are for engines without suffix B, using conventional gasket and bolts.
- Lightly oil the threads of the cylinder head bolts
- Install as follows referring to diagram: Long bolts 1, 3 and 5. Medium bolts 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Short bolts 11, 12, 13 and 14.
- Using the diagram progressively torque in three stages.
- Bolt numbers 11 to 14 (outer row) 44 lbs. ft.
- Bolt numbers 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 (center row) 66 lbs. ft
- Bolt numbers 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 (inner row) 66 lbs. ft.
