INSTRUCTIONS
Landrover Discovery II Air Deflectors
(Part# 9756D2)

Please Note: You must follow these instructions to install correctly. Installation is recommended at temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Front windows: Please begin installation with driver’s window. (Diagrams 1-6 refer to drivers-side window).
Insert the deflectors leading vertical edge (just the opaque machined mounting flange) into the window channel closest to the mirror while resting the flared-out transparent bottom edge on top of the doors outside weather-strip. (Refer to diagram 2).
Important Note: The flared-out bottom edge, or end of the deflector must be resting ON TOP of the doors outside weather-strip, (also know as the “dew wiper”).
For proper fit, ensure that the only portion of the deflector that is inserted into the window channel (window track), is the thin, opaque, machined edge (refer to diagram 3, section view A-A). If the deflector is not inserted properly, damage to the deflector and/or the window lift mechanism may occur.
While grasping the deflector firmly near the mirror with your left hand, bow the deflector toward you while you insert the rearmost portion of the deflector flange into the upper right hand corner of the window channel with your right hand, (as shown in diagram 4). Leave a gap of approximately ½” between the deflector and the upper corner of the door, as this will ease the remainder of the installation.
Working from front to rear, carefully insert the remainder of the now bowed deflector flange into the window channel by carefully pulling downward with your fingertips until the flange of the deflector slips up into place in the window channel (refer to diagram 5).
Important Note: Prior to closing your windows for the first time, insure that A) the mirror end of the Wind and Rain deflector is properly resting on top of the doors weather strip (dew wiper); and B) the thin, opaque, machined mounting flange is fully and properly inserted into the window channel from front to rear (refer to diagram 3, section view A-A).
