INSTRUCTIONS for Land Rover Defenders

Defender 90 Rock Sliders
(Part # 9596DF)

Fitting Instructions

Remove the standard Aluminum sills.

The rock sliders must first be assembled as per diagram.

The round tube is connected to the main body using the M12 x 20 bolts and washers.

Do not fully tighten the bolts, the slotted hole in the tube brackets allows for adjustment.

The sliders are mounted using the bulkhead bolt and the round tube outrigger.

Undo the bulkhead bolt (located in the front outrigger).

Push the bolt towards the front of the vehicle until the bolt is flush with the outrigger.

(DO NOT REMOVE COMPLETELY).

The rock sliders can now be slotted in place.

Push the bulkhead bolt back to its original position going through the hole in the bracket of the slider.

Replace the nut and tighten.

The rear of the slider is held in position using the M10 X 110 bolt and large washer. These are connected through the inside of the outrigger tube.

At the front and rear of the rock sliders are tapped holes, these are used to reconnect the wheel arch flare.

The M8 nuts go behind the spat onto the rock slider. The M8 bolts and washers are then inserted connecting the flare to the slider.

Tighten all bolts.

Left and right hand sliders are connected in the same way.
