Defender 90/110 Steering Guards

The guards fit both left and right hand drive models and mount via existing holes in the vehicles chassis.

Parts List

1 - Galvanized Steering Guard
4 - M12 Washers
2 - M12 x 150 Bolts
4 - M10 Washers
2 - M10 x 150 Bolts 
2 - M12 Nylocks
3 - 25MM Spacers
2 - M10 Nylocks 
1 - 30MM Spacer

In fitting the steering guard, it is necessary to use 2 existing bolts marked A on diagram.

Fitting

First remove the 2 bolts marked A on diagram. 

The steering guard can now be held in position and the bolts pushed through.

The 30MM spacer marked B on the diagram is used on this side. 

The 3 x 25MM spacers marked C on the diagram are used on the opposite side of the steering guard, between the chassis arm and the steering guard.

Washers and nuts can now be fitted and fully tightened. 

Check that the 2 bolts removed (A)  are set to the correct torque setting.
